Our Strategies
Hands-On Learning
We will host workshops that simplify cybersecurity, using games and role-play to teach kids and parents vital cybersecurity hygiene skills.
Curriculum Partnerships
OAK Cybershield would work with Canadian school boards to include digital safety lessons in regular classes, making cybersecurity a natural part of learning.
Online Learning Hub
Develop a learning hub that offers fun, interactive lessons and resources for mentees and parents to learn at their own pace.
Community Awareness
Spread cybersecurity tips and run campaigns to reach everyone in the community, especially during Cybersecurity Awareness Month.
Support for Parents and Schools
Collaborate with school boards to inculcate digital safety policies and offer advice for parents on setting up safe devices at home and how to keep their kids safe online.
Peer Programs
Older students are trained as Cyber Ambassadors as younger students are more likely to listen to and learn from peers they admire.
Expert Partnerships
Collaborate with tech companies and cybersecurity experts to deliver free tailored cybersecurity services and resources. Through consultations, hands-on guidance, and awareness sessions, this initiative will empower community to learn directly from industry professionals. The aim is to address real-world digital safety concerns.

Develop a mentorship program that connects students and young professionals with industry experts to provide personalized guidance on cybersecurity concepts and career pathways. We will offer hands-on training opportunities to build practical skills and highlight real-world applications of cybersecurity.
